Three programs built for the people who actually do the work: distributors, contractors, and rep agencies. Each one is different. Each one gets results.
Contractor Intensive
I come to your job site for 3 days or a full week. We get in the dirt together to bid for real profit, design systems that win awards, and troubleshoot the tricky stuff so you're not stuck on unpaid callbacks.
Distributor Revenue Growth
Most lighting departments have a lot of potential, and inventory, sitting on the shelf. I help your counter staff and sales team move that product by giving them the confidence and tools to actually talk about the lighting business.
Rep Agency Specifying
Moving into low-voltage can feel like a different world. I help high-voltage reps get comfortable with the gear and the specs so they can start winning these jobs with confidence.
Proven Industry Authority
20+ YEARS OF FIELD-TESTED RESULTS.
Bridging the gap between technical field mastery and high-level business strategy.

Years Running My Own Company
Owned and operated a dedicated, high-end landscape lighting company.
I've been the contractor, the manufacturer rep, and the branch manager. I know how each side thinks.

MGIA Award Winner
3 Gold and 2 Silver — Michigan Green Industry Association, Best Landscape Lighting Installation in Michigan.
Contractor Intensive — The Flagship
I COME TO YOUR JOB SITE. WE GET IN THE DIRT TOGETHER.
Flexible Training Formats
The 3-Day Onsite and Week-Long Intensive are the programs I recommend most. They're where the real transformation happens. But I also offer shorter sessions and online courses for teams that need a different starting point. Every engagement is built around what you and your company actually need.
If you're standing on the left side of this tree and I ask you what color it is, you'll tell me green. If you're standing on the right, you'll tell me pink. Neither is wrong. You just have a different viewpoint, that's what I bring to your operation. I've been at the counter, in the field, run my own company, and led a manufacturer sales team. Most people have seen one angle. I've seen all of them. That's why this company is called Viewpoint.
THE CURRICULUM
Build Your Technical Foundation
Before you can bid, design, or troubleshoot, you need to understand how light actually works. I start here — with the core technical knowledge that everything else is built on.
Design Systems That Win Awards
The principles behind lighting design that looks great, sells itself, and holds up over time.
Bid for Real Profit
Stop bidding to lose. Use field-tested strategies to command elite margins and close the deal based on expertise, not the lowest number.
Install It Right the First Time
In-field training that cuts callbacks, warranty claims, and the headaches that eat your margin.
Troubleshoot the Tricky Stuff
Advanced diagnostics so your crew can fix problems on-site instead of calling for help.
Build Recurring Revenue
Maintenance contracts that keep cash coming in and clients coming back.
Run a Tighter Operation
The basics of running a lighting business that's organized, profitable, and built to grow.
Distributor Sales Strategy
YOUR LIGHTING AISLE IS COLLECTING DUST.
Lighting is your highest margin category. Most distributors leave it on the shelf because their team isn't trying to sell it.
STEP 1
BUILD A REAL GAME PLAN
A practical, customized plan for your lighting division, with clear goals, accountability, and a path to making the department profitable.
STEP 2
MAKE YOUR COUNTER STAFF THE EXPERTS
When a contractor asks a question at the counter, your team should have the answer. That confidence turns browsers into buyers.
STEP 3
GET YOUR OUTSIDE REPS SELLING LIGHTING
Give your reps the knowledge to walk into a contractor's shop and talk lighting design, specs, and solutions, not just take orders.
Rep Agency Specifying
LOW-VOLTAGE IS A DIFFERENT WORLD. LET'S GET YOU COMFORTABLE IN IT.
Most high-voltage reps are leaving landscape lighting jobs on the table, not because they can't sell, but because the low-voltage side feels unfamiliar. I help your team learn the gear, understand the specs, and start winning these jobs with confidence.
LEARN THE SPECS
Get your reps comfortable with low-voltage systems, how they work, how they're specified, and how they're sold, without the steep learning curve.
BUILD A PROCESS THAT REPEATS
A straightforward approach to getting your products specified on jobs, residential and commercial, so it becomes second nature for your team.
START WINNING THESE JOBS
Identify the contractors and distributors in your territory who are doing lighting work, and build the relationships that put you in front of them.
The Viewpoint Edge
UNFILTERED INDUSTRY INSIGHT. STRATEGY BORN IN THE FIELD.
Mark Natale, Founder — Viewpoint Lighting Consultants
Mark Natale. 20+ Years in This Industry. No Products to Sell.
I started landscaping at 15. Over the next two decades I worked every side of this industry: at the counter as a branch manager, in the field running my own award winning firm, and leading a manufacturer's sales team across the West.
That trajectory revealed a massive disconnect. There is plenty of excellent lighting product sitting on distributor shelves but a lack of high level strategy for the professionals who sell and install it. Viewpoint was founded to bridge that gap. I am not here as a brand representative. I am an independent expert providing the unfiltered frameworks I have used to build and scale at every level of the industry. I do not deal in theory. I deal in field tested results.
Let's Find Your Missing Piece.
Tell me your biggest challenge. I'll tell you exactly where I'd start. Every engagement begins with a direct conversation about what's holding your operation back. No boilerplate, no generic programs, no wasted time. If you're ready to stop competing on price and start leading with expertise, I want to hear from you.
